1. Translations
   We transfer textual and lexical meaning from one language to another. We provide translation services in local/Ugandan, regional, and international languages in various disciplines such as social sciences, health, education, economics and law. This practice is subjected to a very comprehensive yet rigorous system of checks and balances and quality assurance.
   
   
2. Back-translations
   We transfer textual and lexical meaning from an already translated text (language) back to its original language (the language from which the first translation was made). The purpose is to ensure that there is consistency in meaning between the original text/language and the translated text/language.
   
   
3. Editing and Proofreading
   We edit variety of texts for academic and general-purpose consumption. We also edit original and translated texts in Kiswahili and Ugandan languages to ensure correct orthographies and standardized dialects are used.
   
   
4. Language teaching
   We offer tailored short term language courses in Ugandan languages, Kiswahili and foreign languages. The courses are tailored to meet varied needs such as communicative, business and academic purposes. We carry out this effectively to individuals and groups in need of particular yet varied aspects of communication in a particular language on our language menu.
   
   
5. Transcription
   We assist researchers, academicians, government agencies and the general public to transfer audio-visual recordings into printable word (lexical) texts. This happens in the local languages and in the African languages as provided on our menu.
   
   
6. Interpretation
   We help real-time intercultural understanding by interpreting spoken texts from one  language to another in a diverse range of situations such as tourism, conferences, teaching & learning, workshops and one-on-one or personalized interpreters.
   
   
7. Creation of original content
   We do raise content from scratch as it happens or as language is used in our various   local languages and other languages. This gives our subject matters originality which is a characteristic of our writing. We do this in the fields of curriculum, sports,education, business, entertainment among others.
   
   
8. Validation and Testing
   To guarantee quality and acceptability for our translation products we carryout interactive validation and testing within the language user community. In line with principles of communication we provide language testing and evaluation of indigenous language proficiency to meet different linguistic and communication   needs.
   
   
9. Coordination
   Leads Foundation offers coordination services across languages. This facilitates the translation, back translation, interpretation and transcription in languages not yet fully on our menu or with less expertise in language manipulation in different situations as cases may arise.
   
   
10. Language consultancy
    We boast of experts in language consulting in various language related issues such as strategy in language research, lexicography, phonetics and phonology, language policy and planning, grammar and syntax, orthography development, first and second language learning as well as multilingualism.
    
    
11. Certification
    All our translations, back-translations, editing and proofreading as well as transcribed documents are certified with a company seal.
